In the Name of God Amen
I HENRY BAILY of Streatly in the County of Berks Yeoman being aged but of sound mind and memory yet considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof doe make my last Will and Testament as follows  Imprimis I bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God hoping for mercy through the merits and [           ] of Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour  And my body to the Earth to be buried at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named  As to my wordly Estate I dispose of as follows  Item I give devise and bequeath unto my loving wife ANNE BAILY for and during the term of her naturall life onely All that my Moity or halfe part of the Mannor of Streatley and of all the Messuages Lands Tenements and hereditaments with the Rights priviledges members and appurtenances thereunto belonging or incident lately purchased of ANTHONY LYBBE Esqr deceased yet so as my said wife shall have noe power or priviledge to rut down fell or grubb up any wood growing or to be growing in any part of the Comon Wood belonging to the said Mannor in Streatly aforesaid  Item I give unto my said Wife all such broad Gold as she shall have by her at the time of my decease and ten pounds more in money and all my Linnen and houshold goods of what nature or sort soever  Item whereas my said Moiety of the Mannor Lands and premises aforesaid are and stands ingaged as a Security to pay unto my Son HENRY BAILY his Executors or Assigns within one year next after my decease the sume of three hundred pounds Now I do hereby order and appoint that my Executor hereafter named shall pay the said sume of three hundred pounds accordingly out of my personal Estate so as my said Wife shall any may have and enjoy the same clear from such Incumbrance  Item the Reverson and inheritance of my said Moiety of the Mannor Messuages Lands Tenements hereditaments and premisses aforesaid and all other my Freehold Estate whatsoever (from and immediately after the death of my said Wife) I give and devise unto my Son JONATHAN BAILY his Heires and Assigns for ever  Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandchildren JONATHAN and MARTHA BAILY the sume of ten pounds and to my Grandchild HENRY BAILY the sume of twenty pounds to be paid them at their respective ages of one and twenty years or daies of Marriage which shall first happen And if any or either of them dye before their respective Legacies become due as aforesaid then the Legacy of him her or them so dying shall goe and be paid to the Survivours and Survivour of them equally And if they shall all dye before such their respective Legacies become due and payable as aforesaid then the same shall cease and be paid  Item I give and bequeath unto my Son in Law ROBERT HOUSE the sume of two hundred pounds to be paid him within one year next after my death in case his now wife be then living but if she dye before that time Then my Will is that the said sume of two hundred pounds shall goe and be paid to my Grandchild ANNE HOUSE at her Age of one and twenty years or day of Marriage which shall first happen  Item I give and bequeath unto my said Grandchild ANNE HOUSE the sume of One hundred pounds more to be likewise paid her at her Age of one and twenty years or day of marriage which shall first happen And if she dye before Then my Will is that both the said Legacies to her shall cease and be paid  Item all the rest and residue of my Goods Chattells and Estate whatsoever (after my Debts and Funerall charges borne and paid) I give devise and bequeath unto my said Son JONATHAN BAILY and I make and appoint my said Son JONATHAN BAILY my full and sole Executor And I doe hereby revoke all former Wills by me made and declare this to be my last  In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seal this twenty third day of July In the tenth ear of the reign of her Majestie Queen Anne [            ] 1711 – HENRY BAILY
