This is the last Will and Testament of me THOMAS HARBAGE of Cropredy in County of Oxford yeoman  I give and bequeath unto my wife ELIZABETH the sum of five hundred pounds absolutely  Also I give and bequeath unto my said Wife All my household goods furniture and household effects of every description except the bed and bedstead on which I generally sleep an oak tea table chest of drawers and my clock and case  And I give and bequeath the said bed and bedstead tea table chest of drawers clock and case and all other my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever not hereinbefore disposed of unto JOHN HARBAGE of Ratley in the County of Warwick Farmer and THOMAS ANDREWS of Cropredy aforesaid Farmer their executors and administrators Upon trust that they or the survivor of them his executors and administrators do and shall convert the same into money and lay out and invest the monies arising therefrom on government or real securities or in some of the public funds and from time to time vary the investment thereof at their discretion And upon further trust to pay the dividends and interest arising from such securities and funds unto my said wife during her life and from and after her decease I direct that my said trustees or the survivor of them his executors or administrators shall stand possessed of the said securities and funds and the monies invested thereon or therein In trust for my son WILLIAM HARBAGE his executors and administrators  And I declare that the receipts of my said Trustees or the survivor of them his executors or administrators for such monies stocks funds and securities as shall be paid or transferred to them or him by virtue of this my will shall effectually discharge the persons paying or transferring the same from liability to see to the application thereof   And I appoint the said JOHN HARBAGE and THOMAS ANDREWS Executors of this my will and hereby revoke all former wills by me made

In witness whereof I the said THOMAS HARBAGE the Testator have to this my last will and testament set my hand this fifth day of February one thousand eight hundred and forty two – The mark of X - THOMAS HARBAGE – Signed by the said Testator as his last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses – THOMAS PAIN RICHARD WALLS WILLIAM HARBAGE

Proved at London 20th February 1844 before the Judge by the oaths of JOHN HARBAGE and THOMAS ANDREWS the Executors to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn (by Commission) duly to administer
