This is the last Will and Testament of me JAMES STALEY of Banbury in the County of Oxford Mealman  I give and bequeath unto my brother unto my Brother JOHN all my Tenant Right Share and Interest in the Lease of the Mills called Banbury Mills with the Closes thereunto belonging and the Erections and Improvements in the said Mills And as to all my Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and real Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever I give devise and bequeath the same unto my dear Wife SARAH To hold to her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns And I nominate constitute and appoint my Friends RICHARD HIRONS the Younger of Chacombe in the County of Northampton Yeoman WILLIAM GARDNER  JAMES GARDNER and WILLIAM WARD all of Oxhill in the County of Warwick Yeoman and GEORGE WATSON of Coton in the said County of Oxford Yeoman Executors of this my Will

In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this twenty sixth day of February One thousand eight hundred and twenty three – JAMES STALEY – Signed sealed published and declared by the said JAMES STALEY the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have at his request and his sight and presence and in the sight and presence of each other subscribed our Names as Witnesses thereto – JNO. On the 31st May 1823 Administration (with the Will annexed) of the Goods Chattels and Credits of JAMES STALEY late of Banbury in the County of Oxford Mealman deceased was granted to SARAH STALEY Widow the Relict and the Residuary Legatee named in the said Will having been first sworn by Commission duly to administer.  RICHARD HIRONS the younger WILLIAM GARDNER  JAMES GARDNER  WILLIAM WARD and GEORGE WATSON the Executors named in the said Will having first respectively renounced the Probate and Execution thereof
