In the Name of God Amen

I MARY HIRONS of Banbury in the County of Oxford spinster being indisposed in Body but of sound mind memory and understanding (Praysed be God) and Considering the uncertainty of this mortal Life Doe make and ordaine this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner and forme following  I [                       ] my Soule into the Hands of Almighty God my Creator in hope to be saved by the sole Meritts of my only Saviour Redeemer Jesus Christ and my Body to be buried at the Discretion of my Executor hereinafter named And as to my wordly Estate I dispose thereof as followeth (that is to say) [            ] I Give and Bequeath unto my two Loving Brothers JOHN HIRONS and WILLIAM HIRONS Tenn pounds apiece or to Each of them to buy them Mourning  Alsoe I Give and Bequeath unto my two Loving Sisters MARTHA (the Wife of JOHN GIBBERD of Banbury in the County of Oxford Baker) and to ELIZABETH (the Wife of HENRY CLARIDGE of Banbury aforesaid Tanner) the like sume of Tenn pounds apiece or to each of them to buy them Mourning  Alsoe I Give and Bequeath unto my said Loving Sister ELIZABETH (the Wife of the Said HENRY CLARIDGE) the furniture of the kitchen in the Dwelling house wherein I now inhabit in Banbury aforesaid and alsoe the furniture of my Lodgeing house therein and alsoe all my wearing apparell All the Rent of my Goods and Chattells and Money and personal estate of what Nature or kind soever or wheresoever  I Doe hereby Give and Bequeath unto my Good friend EDWARD [HOLSMAN] of Smithfield [            ] London Linen Draper whom I Doe hereby make and Constitute full and sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament revoking hereby all former or other Will or Wills by me at any time or times heretofore made  In Witness whereof I the said MARY HIRONS have hereunto sett my hand and Seale this Twenty Fifth day of November in the eighteenth Year of the Reigne of Our Sovereign Lord King George the Second over Great Britain and soe forth and in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and forty foure – M HIRONS – Signed Sealed Published and Declared In the presence of us who subscribed Our Names as Witnesses thereof in the Testatrix her presence and at her request and in the presence of Each Other – JOHN [WALLACE] – X the mark of HANNAH CLARIDGEMARY BULL
