In the Name of God Amen

I ARTHUR RAWLINSON of the Parish of St James Westminster in the County of Middlesex Oylman do make this my last Will and Testament as follows I give and devise unto my Nephew HARRY HOUSE his heirs and assigns for ever all that my piece of Freehold Land situate at Rickmansworth in the County of Hertford 

I also give to my said Nephew my share of the Stock in Trade and all other things whatsoever belonging to the said Trade in Partnership between us except my share of the Debts due to the said Trade which I direct to sink into the residue of my Estate he paying thereout all Debts that shall be due from the said Partnership Trade at the time of my death and also thereout paying to his Sister MARY a legacy of Two hundred pounds which I hereby give her

I give my Brothers WILLIAM and THOMAS and my Brother HENRY and his wife and Daughter MARY Ten pounds a piece for Mourning  

I give Five pounds to be distributed by Mr HENRY WANGFORD to such poor persons of the Parish of Rickmansworth as he shall think fit  

All the rest residue and remainder of my real and personal Estates wheresoever and whatsoever I give devise and bequeath to my Sisters ANN and DOROTHY RAWLINSON to be equally divided between them share and share alike  

And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said Sisters ANN and DOROTHY Executrixes of this my Will  

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this second Day of August one Thousand seven hundred and forty eight – ARTHUR RAWLINSON – signed sealed published and Declared by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the Presence of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our Names as Witnesses hereto – GEO. This Will was proved at London on the Twenty First Day of February in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty Eight before the Worshipful Robert Chapman Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right Worshipful John Bottesworth also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissory of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of ANN RAWLINSON and DOROTHY RAWLINSON Spinsters the Sisters of the deceased and Executrixes named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased being first sworn duly to administer
