This is the last Will and Testament of me CHARLES HOUSE of East Park Farm Sonning in the County of Berks Farmer  I desire all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses to be paid as soon as conveniently can be after my decease

I appoint my Brother in Law WILLIAM HARDING of Leamington in the County of Warwick Coal Merchant to be Trustee of this my Will  I give and bequeath to my Wife ROSETTA SARAH HOUSE all the Household Furniture Plate Linen China Books Pictures Wines and consumable stores and other household effects belonging to me at my decease for her absolute use and disposal

I also give to my said Wife a Legacy of two hundred pounds to be paid to her out of the first monies coming to the hands of my Executor

And as to all the rest and residue of my Personal Estate and all my Real Estate I give and devise the same unto and to the use of the said WILLIAM HARDING his heirs executors administrators and assigns upon trust to sell call in and convert the same into money  And upon further trust to invest the net proceeds to arise from such sale and conversion of my said Real and Residuary Personal Estate in the name of the said WILLIAM HARDING in some or one of the Parliamentary stocks or public funds of Great Britain or at interest upon Government or Real Securities in England or upon Mortgage of any Leasehold Messuages Lands and other hereditaments in England held for any term or terms of years whereof not less than sixty years shall be unexpired at the time of the investment being made or on the security of Debentures of Her Majesty's East India Government or Mortgages Bonds or Debentures of any Railway Company guaranteed by Her Majesty's East India Government

And upon further trust to pay the annual income of the said monies stocks funds and securities to my said Wife during her life for her sole and separate use and her receipt alone to be a discharge to my said Trustee for the same

And I empower my said Wife by any deed or deeds with or without power of revocation and new appointment or by her last Will to appoint the sum of one thousand pounds or any part thereof to any person or persons whom she might think fit such sum to be paid out of my Personal Estate as shall be invested at the time of her decease  And from and after her decease as to the capital and income of the said stocks funds and securities (subject to the power of appointment of one thousand pounds reserved to my said Wife as aforesaid) upon trust to divide the same into three equal partsAnd to pay one third part thereof equally between the children of my said Brother in Law WILLIAM HARDING 

One other third part thereof equally between the children of my deceased brother JOHN HENRY HOUSE  And the remaining third part thereof equally between the children of my deceased brother THOMAS SMITH HOUSE to be vested interests in all my Nephews and Nieces at the time of my decease and they to take as tenants in common

I declare and direct that my Trustee and the Trustee for the time being of this my Will shall have a discretionary power to postpone for such period as to him shall seem expedient the conversion or getting in of any part of my residuary personal Estate but the same shall be subject to the trusts aforesaid and the yearly produce thereof be deemed annual income for the purposes of such trusts

I devise all Real Estates vested in me as Trustee or Mortgagee unto and to the use of the said WILLIAM HARDING his heirs and assigns subject to the trusts and equities affecting the same respectively

And I declare that the power of appointing a new Trustee or Trustees of this my Will shall arise not only in the events provided for by Statute but also in the event of any Trustee of Trustees becoming Bankrupt or going to reside out of England and Wales

I appoint the said WILLIAM HARDING sole Executor of this my Will and I give to him a Legacy of fifty pounds

I revoke all former Testamentary writings and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in two sheets of paper contained

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand this third day of March one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven

At Oxford on the Twenty eighth day of April 1885, Administration with the Will annexed of the personal Estate and Effects of CHARLES HOUSE late of East Park Farm, Sonning, in the County of Berks, Farmer, deceased, who died on the Twenty sixth day of September 1884 at East Park Farm, Sonning aforesaid, was granted to ROSETTA SARAH HOUSE, Widow, the Relict of the Deceased, and the residuary Legatee for life named in the said Will, she having been first sworn. WILLIAM HARDING, the sole Executor and residuary Legatee in trust, named in the said Will, survived the said Deceased, but died without having taken upon himself the Probate and execution thereof
